I have a first in office appt. with the cardiologist who did my emergency stent after having a heart attack less than two weeks ago. I've had my insurance deny two different 'scripts for statins, and quite honestly, I think that's divine intervention.

I do not want to take statins, and I've started taking serrapeptase to help with reducing the plaque....there are no other clogs in my ateries, but they are showing signs of constriction.

A client of mine told me about ezetimibe, the generic for Zetia, and I'm wondering if youse guyses have any personal experience about this drug. It is not a statin, and is used in concert with a statin. I'm hoping to use it in concert with the serrapeptase with be efficient in lowering my levels.

I suppose what I'm hoping is that the doc will approve of this without too much argument.

I know I do not have to take anything I don't want to, but my cholesterol readings are very high, and I so do not want to have another heart attack. It hurts really, really bad to have a heart attack.

I'm also totally changing up my diet more to plant based foods, and I'm going to start walking very soon. I know that's key to my health also.

Also, I do take in oils. I eat organic butter, I take CBD oil, black seed oil, and other oils, so I'm not so much concerned about not getting enough oils.

Can anyone here advise me? My appt. is in two hours, and I don't want to see him without being at least a bit educated.

Thank you....hf

If this helps one person, then divine intervention it is! hf

Hope you get it figured out before you see the doc.

Well, if I don't I will walk away with the 'script, but will probably not fill it. There are just too many signs to me that I should not take it.

I do think the serrapeptase and changing my diet and walking are going to help a great deal, and I can try it my way for say three months, get my cholesterol levels checked again, and then go forward from there.

Thank you so much for this thread, lovey....hugshf
