Just because YOU don’t believe in the Rougarou; or the Loup Garou, don’t make you safe; No ! BirdMom User ID: 77397685 Panama 03/13/2019 02:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why do so many people say "I don't eat candy bars anymore?" Who cares? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77453788 LOL! I prefaced my post with that disclaimer for two reasons. 1.) Because it's true. I just can't eat like that anymore at my age. 2.) Then I followed it with a big list of my favorite candy bars, because I just couldn't decide on one. I figured everyone would have visions of me sitting at my computer with my face coated with chocolate and my desk littered with candy wrappers after posting that list if I didn't say something. LOL |
BirdMom User ID: 77397685 Panama 03/13/2019 03:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Oh, I forgot about those. I haven't seen one in ages, but I'm adding that to my list of candy bars that I still can't decide on which one is my favorite. I doubt I could eat a Skor bar without chipping a tooth these days though. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77386488 Canada 03/13/2019 03:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's awesome. It's a honeycomb-flavored candy coated in chocolate. Sounds like Crunchie that we have here. American chocolate tastes awful though, I cant even get it down..its an acquired taste most likely. Canadian and Uk candy rocks! |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 76793558 United States 03/13/2019 03:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Technically not a candy bar, but I always loved those Ferrero Rocher hazelnut candies in the gold wrapper. Quoting: BirdMom I was gonna say newcastle beer, but yes rocher is one of my favorites along with cadbury eggs, snickers, herseys cookies n cream, crunch, and reeses peanut butter cup. There are a ton of new bars gourmet and who knows what else but these are my favorites. I've recently tried 2 new chocolate bars one with reeses pieces in them and the other in the style of Crunch except it also had m&ms in them, booth were too sweet for me. |

I just looked that up, and I think you're right. A Crunchie looks like it's the same thing as a Violet Crumble, though there are some serious battles occurring on the internet over which one is better. LOL! The consensus seems to be that the Crunchie has better chocolate, but the Violet Crumble has better honeycomb. I remember the first time I found a Violet Crumble was a couple of decades ago at a store owned by an Australian in Virginia. I got hooked and drove for 2 hours back there again to get more. It was the only place selling them. |

The Crunchie vs Violet Crumble debate will be settled! |

DodgerFan User ID: 70020713 Canada 03/13/2019 04:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My favorite bar is definitely NUTRAGEOUS I dont' even know if they even make them anymore, and they've never sold them here in Canada. But back in the 90's I used to go over to Detroit every couple days to buy my Malt Liquor or the week and I would always pick up a Nutrageous bar as well. Those things were amazing. |
