Something funny about all these reports. Why weren't schools being plastered with swastikas when I was in school?

Thinking back, you're right about that but the article is saying this happened directly following a speech by a Holocaust survivor. I don't remember things like this happening when I was a kid, so why now? These news reports expect the public to accept this happening but with the exception of some rare extremist events this was never the norm in the US. The stuff you are talking about was mostly vandalism in bathroom stalls and desks and park benches perpetrated by children who were either too young or too immature to really understand the impact of what they were drawing. They weren't targeted attacks they were acts of vandalism by idiots trying to be "cool." You make a good point. The sheer partisan nature of this crap has gotten ridiculous.
