I totally agree with you ... time to move south, but not too far south because all the extra moisture in the air, will make the South unbearable (think New Orleans in August x10)

this Solar (grand minimun) cycle typically last a decade ... but considering how close we are to a polar flip - it might last a century ... who knows

all I know is that living underground (like I do, in an earth bermed home) is going to be the only way to survive the next decade ... my daughter thinks I'm crazy to move ... she said she wouldn't even consider it ..." unless we got something like 20 snow storms this winter" - well this is our second Blizzard (first two in over a decade) and our 17th snow storm --- and winter aint over yet

At 300 PM CDT...A low pressure system with a central pressure of
968 mb was located near Manter, Kansas and was moving eastward. An
occluded front extended eastward across the Central Plains and
into a triple point over southeastern Missouri with a cold front
extending southward across Lower Mississippi Valley and
southeastern Texas. A warm front extended southward from the
triple point across the Lower Mississippi Valley and into the Gulf
of Mexico. National Weather Service radars and surface
observations indicated moderate to heavy snowfall with blizzard
conditions in some places across the Northern/Central Plains and
Central Rockies. Moderate to heavy rainfall spread into the
Mississippi Valley with some thunderstorm activity reported in the
Lower Mississippi Valley. High winds gusting near 100 mph were
observed near Colorado Springs, Colorado.

I can’t imagine. I’m here inNorthern California at 500 elevation, and we rarely see snow in Redding, maybe a snow day every 3-5 years. Or a dusting in between. Right before Valentine’s Day we got 7-13 inches of snow, and it caused so so much destruction. In town, my power was out for 3 days. There were trees ontop of houses, blocking roadways, downed power lines everywhere, and I watched the sky light up and heard popping transformers for like 3 hours. It was eerie, and it cost everyone big time, either in lost wages, clean up, repair , you name it.
Never ever wishing for snow again, it sucked.

That's why you don't drive with your fins open in this stuff and you pull off when you feel that gust first starting to hit you. They think that wind won't topple that truck. They have no idea what wind can do. It can lift a Boeing 787 off the ground and it sure can lift you too, I don't care how cowboy you think you are.

You get that truck parked.

That fool right there had his cruise on. Guarentee you. You turn that stupid cruise off, and you slow that truck down. WAY down.

Look at that driver. That didn't need to happen. He's sitting there getting blown over and doesn't even pull off that hammer.
