After two trials described by Amnesty International as “grossly unfair,” Iranian human rights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh has been sentenced to a total of 38 years in prison and 148 lashes. [ link to womenintheworld.com (secure)] I think the Iman went easy on her actually.. normally they would have cut her head off and then let it be used for football. Actually, I think a beheading would be better than 148 lashes and 38 years having to live in that miserable inhumane savage part of the world.
