It is an interesting anomaly, however. Been watching the SOHO feeds and it appears to me they've been putting up the SAME PIC FOR 3 TO 4 DAYS (they change a couple of pixels showing meteors going by...but that can be photoshopped very easily.) My guess is there's some solar activity that is NOT being reported...probably so it doesn't spoil all the Memorial Day shopping sales. (Yeah...they do THAT!) We just went to the Morganza Spillway this weekend. The water is at 58 feet and not to far from over topping the structure. On the dry side there are plenty of cows still grazing so the plan is to open it very slowly. But yes, plenty of farmland has already been destroyed and will continue to be destroyed once this is open. I also read today that the dead dolphin count is currently up to 88 due to fresh water intrusion in the Gulf of Mexico from the Bonnet Carre Spillway.
