I just got up...Its 7am here and spent all day yesterday fixing the track on the excavator...was digging water lines and the fricken track well they tear when they start to get worn....then they come off....

got in late last night...managed to find 2 used ones...

Now gotta pull the old one off and wrestle getting another on....Its a pain in the ass...they are heavy buggers....

landscaping to make sure when water runs and or heavy rains hit the water goes where I want it to go...

installing irrigation lines everywhere....

The heat was an issue here last year and will be this year again they say...go figure....

so last year decided if I am going to plant berry bushes and orchard trees need to step it up and be able to irrigate everything....

Had a feeling the weather was getting wonky after 3 freak wind storms in 2 years that shredded trees so got rid of all the house killers around me and my buildings last year as well....was quite the mess after the wind storms.

WINDS are going to be an issue everywhere.

In the back of my mind it was something I always knew I should do....was bugging me to get it done....

I am throwing on the coffee pot...and waking up a little...need to hit the hardware store for a few parts.

I probably wont sit down and put up the info till later today....

Just make sure the furnace/hot water lights and it has a 2 way fridge...propane and electric....the stoves are always propane....make sure the tanks are up to date or they wont fill them and you'll need to replace them....Bumper pulls or 5th wheels...I have seen many cute small ones you can pull with a SUV....Then throw a coverall in and you have an outdoor covered area to sit under as well...They all usually have awnings on them as well....

They are easy to pull....not a big deal....

Scored a 20x30 coverall today and turning it into a greenhouse....

Out of all the stuff that's going on and will be going on...

FOOD SCARCITY in the long run will be the biggest issue. Crops losses due to flooding and Hail and Heat and all the other extremes are going to push many nations to the brink.

So with that in mind...I have alot of ground that could be used to grow food and greenhouse for bedding out plants for everybody else as well...

I will be growing long term storable vegtables that keep in a cold room or rootcellar over the winter....

Beets...Potatoes.....Squash of all sorts....to name a few.

Everybody should start a garden this year....Its the smart thing to do now.

Go on Youtube and learn how and what to do....

You previously specifically mentioned a Volcano in CA as well as 6-8 wks before next Sun driven event (for lack of a better word). If you actually know something about timing it would be humane to share. Perhaps you will as time approaches.
