A Bullseye in the Sky Over Texas
This is a thin glowing layer of Earth's atmosphere rippling in the wake of a huge thunderstorm.

Enjoyable and informative read, linked in today's SpaceWeather attempt to normalize the abnormal. The article was written when the bullseye phenomenon was rare but now is used to describe the emerging status quo.
