All serve serving inside part of the club...no outside influence votes.... They themselves decide not some biased board of people in the public representing the human experience. Complete and utter crap. cnn has the lowest ratings in the game right now |

Zucker, accepting the award on behalf of CNN, trashed President Trump in his speech Wednesday night, warning the commander in chief "literally" puts the lives of journalists at risk. Quoting: ShortStop “At CNN our core mission is to tell the truth. To hold those in power accountable even when it's uncomfortable - especially when it's uncomfortable. Last November we made the most uncomfortable and easiest decision of my career we sued the president of the United States for taking away the press credential of our chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta, all because he didn't like the questions that Jim was asking him. We didn't pick that fight. We didn't want that fight. But the decision to fight for our right was easy.” [link to www.realclearpolitics.com (secure)] LOL...wanna see just how "honest" they are? Take a look at how many members and who those members are of the organization that just bestowed this "prestigious" award on CNN.... [link to rtdna.site-ym.com (secure)] hint: The organization has a grand total of 79 MEMBERS! Ask Alice when she's 10ft tall This is a battle for the future of civilization. The CNN YouTube channel serves as my "still alive" signal for my YouTube comment deletion monitoring bot. If I stop seeing CNN delete comments at any time of day or night, then I know the bot overloaded and needs to be reset. Look here, here's one of the latest comments CNN deleted, guess it didn't deserve "first amendment" protection: Anthony Joseph: In the famous words of London's famous mayor, Sadiq Khan "this is the price of living in a big city." Sorry. Don't care because they don't. [Video: [link to youtube.com] |

I've not heard Trump go into greater detail at a press conference about why the media are fake. He hasn't said something like, "jeeez, you reporters and editors are so pathetically liberal/leftwing." Not sure if he has avoided doing that because he doesn't want to embarrass or alienate soft-core liberals throughout America. But the situation is now so far gone, that the leftism of an Obama (which was never been widely mentioned in public) and the rightism of Trump - and the leftism or rightism of other people in general - finally needs to be aired in open conversations. . |

keybored User ID: 77443882 Belgium 03/16/2019 01:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | One night, probably in 1880, John Swinton, then the preeminent New York journalist, was the guest of honour at a banquet given him by the leaders of his craft. Someone who knew neither the press nor Swinton offered a toast to the independent press. Swinton outraged his colleagues by replying: There is no such thing, at this date of the world's history, in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it. There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinion out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job. If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone. The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it, and what folly is this toasting an independent press? We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes."
