7 Actions to Take Immediately Following an EMP Strike
A huge EMP is like opening a Pandora Box:

1 – At a community level because we haven’t experienced one yet and we don’t really know how bad it can get. Frank Gaffney – president of the Center for Security Policy predicted that:

“Within a year of an EMP attack, nine out of 10 Americans would be dead, because we can’t support a population of the present size in urban centers and the like without electricity. And that is exactly what I believe the Iranians are working towards.”

Good article OP, the whole EMP/CME issue needs discussion
there is a difference in the effects of each that may effect how to react.

There is a lot of misinformation about Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) and Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) events, about what they are and how they effect things. One of the big misconceptions is that they are the same. While they may have a similar component and both can cause power outages, there are some striking differences.
The main difference between an EMP attack and a CME impact is what is effected. For EMP, both the power grid and electronics are damaged and destroyed. In a CME impact, mainly the power grid is affected, while electronics are untouched.

What is needed, is to get with the community and form a council that starts to pull together. Farmers, land, backyards, plant seeds, work together and create cold frames and create greenhouses and see what can be done with aquaponics.

Those stores that are locked, get distributions.

Plants lots of potatoes all year round for everyone. Indoors and out, potato sacks everywhere. You can survive for a long time on potatoes, and longer with a bit more variety.

Mechanics, machinests, welders, start creating: motors that run on eco fuel, bicycles that have solar power. Recycle things. Create.

Get Food and get alt medicine to the sick and shutins. Get people growing, contributing, and lots of teens and kids together sitting in garages with tools, creating items for energy, solar/wind/alt batteries, such as salt water, vinegar, or urine, and earth, and create tumblers.

Do not just sit around hording and waiting to die.

Get organized. And in the area, town, whereby any business, or machinest doesn't help out, put them on the shit list, because when you thrive as a community and recreate cleaner tech, renewable tech and foods, and homes even, alt earthbag, and bale homes, all those that pulled together they will be honored.

The shit list, not so much.

Re: 7 Actions to Take Immediately Following an EMP Strike
An EMP will not take out all electronics unless it is detonated nearby. The military strategy would be to use several of them at key locations around the Nation to take out the grid.

That said, this is all propaganda. When the power goes out it will be the kill switch built into the system. This is all about resources, and the working population can be rebuilt, but if the Nuclear Reactors across this Great Nation melt down nearly all resources(land, minerals, water, air) are lost. That is not the Globalist's plan.

The plan is too plant seeds in our brains before the event takes place to take control of what we know after all communication goes down. Once communication through electronic deVICEs is lost, people only know what they know.

The seeds of information being planted in sheep's brains today controls what they know once the grid goes down.

Re: 7 Actions to Take Immediately Following an EMP Strike
Most experts believe that an EMP strike will have power out for 18 months or more. You are not going to survive in a City for that period of time using these steps alone. This would be fine for a 30 day power outage but not long term.
Do not stay in a larger city.. it will be a kill box. Get outside the city with a group of like minded folks. Have a good defensive area & resources to work and live for 18 months or so. look at other web information or even watch a movie of similar event types. They can give some good ideas to what it is like and what you will need.
Most important is your mind... if you are not strong minded and can handle survival you will take your own life or wait to die. If you have never done any type of survival training either in the military or on your own your chances of making it are very slim. Get some knowledge of how to survive and test yourself.

Every single op and article about emps fails to mention a simple reality; eventually (within weeks) every single nuclear reactor will go Chernobyl. What steps are you going to take to survive an ‘on the beach’ type of ELE?

Already addressed two posts above you sir. EMP is propaganda. When the power goes out it will be the kill switch built into the grid. Globalist's want the USA's resources(farmland, water, minerals, air, ect) and they are fine with starving you or tossing you in an oven to get them.

Maybe a reactor or three melts down, but they have too much desire for our resources too allow them to go to waste.

The threat of nuclear reactors going critical after a grid shutdown is a real concern, but like many other "doom" scenarios discussed on GLP, the threat has been exaggerated into the irrational zone. Time for some facts, extrapolated from my emergency response training, paid for by your tax dollars, thank you very much.

In the US there are two emergency zones around every nuclear reactor: a 10-mile "red" zone for direct exposure to a radiation plume, and a 50-mile "yellow" zone for secondary exposure to radiation by ingesting contaminated food or water. Any American living within these two zones should already understand this and know what the emergency response plans are for their particular zone.

These zones are in line with what we already know about Chernobyl and Fukushima. At its widest point, the Chernobyl exclusion zone is only 60 miles wide, which is a 30-mile radius from the plant. Fukushima's current exclusion zone is also approximately a 30-mile radius from the plant.

So, yes, people within 50 miles of a US nuclear power plant need to relocate if the grid goes down for an extended period of time. But no, it's not going to irradiate the entire North American continent, let alone turn into an ELE.

If you live more than 50 miles away from a nuclear power plant that goes critical, your ambient background radiation levels might increase by a few millisieverts (1/1000th of 1 Sievert), but nothing your body can't handle. For instance, an average human's annual exposure to radiation from natural sources and medical scans combined is around 3.65 millisieverts. That's per *year*.

Spending one day in the Fukushima exclusion zone approximately 30 miles from the plant will give you that same dosage in a single day, and standing next to the plant in Chernobyl for only one hour will expose you to almost double that. But neither of those exposures are even close to life-threatening. Your average 50 year-old American has a lifetime cumulative exposure of around 200 millisieverts.

If I am involved in emergency rescue operations in a radiation zone, my maximum safe exposure allowed is 250 millisieverts. And that won't even make me sick, although my chances for developing cancer in 10 to 20 years goes up a little.

At 1,000 millisieverts, (1 sievert if you do the math), a human being will now begin to suffer from symptoms of radiation poisoning, but it probably won't be fatal. At 2,000 millisieverts, you enter into severe radiation poisoning with the possibility of it being fatal. At 4,000 millisieverts, survival is possible only with extreme life-saving measures. 8,000 millisieverts is 100% fatal exposure to humans.

To put all of that into an easy comparison, you would have to spend TWO YEARS straight inside the Fukushima exclusion zone before you started approaching fatal exposure.

So please stop spreading disinformation that could result in Americans making bad decisions in the event of a total grid down scenario. Americans need stone-cold accurate facts regarding the threat they face if the US ever experiences what Venezuela is going through. The last thing they need to hear is "WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!" extremism that has no basis in fact whatsoever.
