Ever a case of a grey hair turning back to original color? | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 77475989 Poland 03/17/2019 07:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It seems logical that this would have happened someday somewhere.. but I search Google for this and find nothing just a bunch of people complaining about their grey hairs. Quoting: Geraldgar Has there ever been one grey hair area in a lab that they got to turn back to its original color? i think i read maybe chaga or reishi mushroom could do it. Or it may have been some other mushroom. One that is choc full of melanin or whatever the pigment is called in the follicles of hair. Also there is practically no business incentive for the technology to ever be research and put to market, as its a one time cure that not only would likely not recover the cost of R&D but more importantly cuts into the lucrative market of hair dye products. |

I think people might still dye their hair as some don’t like their natural color or want to try something different. But yeah there is no money in natural cures. |

My hair went nearly all Grey --- it started in my 20's (now 48) and starting last year my hair started returning to the natural brown color I had when younger. Now, what was nearly 95% grey is now 20%. I tried looking up reasons for it online as well and could not really find anything. |

However there is BIG money in baldness cures. Especially with large companies like L'oreal that own loads of hair products brands, from shampoo to gels, to dyes, to wax to hair dryers and much more. They are actively trying to find a real baldness cure so that they can sell more of their hair products. Its a win win. |

It is sold as as a blood tonifier. "A wise man listens to the message and uses his logic and discernment to process it, a fool negates the message by prejudging the messenger." Quoting: Geraldgar Has there ever been one grey hair area in a lab that they got to turn back to its original color? Much of my grey hair did this once I changed my diet. I had more grey hair 5 years ago than I do today. It's bizarre really. At first I thought it was a fluke, but nope, it's turning back to it's natural color. I read somewhere it has to do with trace minerals, in particular, copper. Low copper levels tend to lead to more grey hair. |

NYC-Beat Reporter User ID: 68678296 United States 03/17/2019 08:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: NYC-Beat Reporter As my younger brother was dying from cancer, he lost a tremendous amount of weight, dropping from 220 to 98 lbs. During that year (yes, it only took a year) his gray hair returned to its normal color and his bald spot starting growing hair again. Then he died. that would support the belief that hair loss and turning grey are consequences of an immune response, ie: inflammation Nope garuantee it's chemo and such. wouldnt chemo and the fact that he died be evidence that his immune system was turned off?? I can speak to that. A few days before he succumbed to his cancer, he became VERY sick with some type of baterial infection. He needed immediate hospitalization and as expected, docs did a blood test: CBC. A normal human has about 4,000-5,000 White blood cells per . . . I dunno, mililiter or some other measurement. WHen we get ill, our White blood cell count goes up. A cold maybe gets us to 7500. A significant infection maybe goes to 10,000-15,000. A very seriosu infection can get us to 20,000. Babies have been recorded as having gotten to 33,000! Upon admission to the hospital, my Brother's White Blood Cell count was . . . . . . four (4). No, not 4,000, not 400, . . . . . four. He had, for all intents and purposes, no immune system. The day he died, his final blood test showed his White Blood cell count had recovered to 12,000, but he died later that day anyway. So his immune system was nowhere near normal in its functioning. Presumably from all the chemo. |

Monty Python User ID: 70335043 United States 03/17/2019 09:26 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Not really, since gray hair is caused by an excess of hydrogen peroxide, which is a byproduct of free radical reduction. Chemo increases the free radicals in the bloodstream, causing hair to turn white or even fall out. After chemo is over the hair can return to its natural pigment because there are fewer free radicals in the system. This only applies to younger people. Aging causes a reduction in catalase, which is the enzyme that neutralizes hydrogen peroxide. Last Edited by Monty Python on 03/17/2019 09:28 PM Monty Python's Flying Circus |

Grey hair means copper deficiency. Start taking a triboron supplement daily (it has copper also). As for hair not growing back, that is pure BS, castor bean oil will regrow hair and reduce hair loss to nearly zero, I put a drop of castor bean oil and olive oil on my scalp daily and darkens the hair also. Stop using shampoo! It is not needed at all. I use a dry towel at night and clean my hair with just water for over 3 years, shampoo is horrible for hair and scalp health. Get a natural bristle brush and brush your hair/scalp daily to remove dead skin and spread the castor/olive oil. You can thank me later. |

Its incredibly thick and I'm afraid I wouldnt be able to get it out. |

darth User ID: 28178764 United States 03/17/2019 09:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am pushing 70 years old. Hair and beard were all gray. In the past year, after beginning NAD (Nicotinomide Adenosine Dinucleotide) my beard and hair are turning darker. I did not notice; wife and friends did. I don't care about cosmetic effects; I want a rejuvenated cardiovascular system! Note that I already consumed a LOT of supplements including every important mineral. I should run a search to see if others have this experience. |
