The question is will it stop at just those 15 tanks or will it jump to another cluster? Is that even possible?

Got me, those are 80,000 barrel tanks though. 3.3 million gallons...each, at full capacity.

That's almost 50 million gallons of fuel if they are all full up.

Far as I heard, they are all holding flammable fuel like Naphtha, toluene, stuff like that, basically paint thinner type chemicals.

Heat from the fire starts boiling the other tanks, things get goin pretty quick.

No idea how many tanks or how much could be drained off, if any.

yup. if something reaches its combustion temperature,
for whatever reason, it's going to burst into flames.
that basic chemistry.

Wind direction seems to have shifted some, don't know if that's for the better, or for the worse.

Shifted back, fire looks worse though, much brighter, really lighting up the smoke cloud.

Fascinating to watch.

Nothing good, only more heat, more fire, everything bad.

"IF" there is propane around that area? a lot of it would leveled.

Hard to find any pics that really show the full layout of the area well, but there does seem to be some pressure vessels close enough to be a concern, right across the rail yard.

Who knows what is in the other large tanks close by, could be any petro chemicals.

As far as I know, no evacuations.

The live feed is only a couple of miles away and they are still there.

It has been burning so hot for so long I can not imagine what is happening under ground and around but , they are not telling us much

I suspect there will be more news coverage for Tuesday.

It's gotten worse overnight, for sure, worse in the last few hours.

for the 4 or 500 yard radius Explosion Death Zone, probably.
but i don't think this kind of a situation is going to Explode.
rather, it's just going to burn like a giant kerosene lamp
until well into Wednesday.

making this horrific giant rope of toxic gas and toxic soot.

Doesn't that in itself mitigate an evacuation?

is from from the the storage tanks of Toluene that were lighted afire
on Monday morning.
