The Root Of All America's Problems Stems From One Critical Factor
This is a bit of a personal testimony about how I came to realize what the main problem in America was, but it is profoundly important. It is a bit long-winded, so please bear with me. I will also preface this by stating that I am neither a Democrat, Republican, nor am I an Independent.

Whilst I hold to that idea that my household was Christian in the mainstream sense, I am a black American. As a youth, I was taught specific things about my color of my skin; that simply because I am black it would be harder for me to succeed in life. These ideas were never given to me as the reason to give up, but I was told that I needed to work harder because of this. Contrary to popular black culture, where education is severely undervalued, both my parents finished high school, have college degrees, and are successful. I absolutely agree that every single person needs to learn to work hard, and that they need a proper education. What I disagree with, are the ideas about racism, and the racial ideas that were constantly put forth to me as a youth.

I've been listening to a few people politcal thought leaders, particularly those with conservative backgrounds and very popular followings, including Steven Crowder, Ben Shapiro, and Larry Elder. Particularly with Ben Shapiro, I have basically binge watched and listened to his arguments practically always are well thought out, and for the most part, accurate. There is an enourmous amount of information to take in, but voices Ben Shapiro (and the others mentioned), are the voices of "common sense" in a world that shouts slogans like, racist, sexist, bigot, homophobe. One of the facets of racism has to do with institutional racism, another thing that the Democratic party likes to shout.

Racism exists, there is no question about that. It manifests itself in various forms. When I was in High School, because I spoke proper English, as well as the fact that I did not not particularly cater to mainstream black culture, I was apparently "not black" or "not black enough". Interestingly enough, because I did not know who Led Zepplin was, someone looked me in the eyes in disbelief, and then proceeded to say, "You're black." Nevertheless, as ridiculous, and strange, as these ideas are, these are not manifestations of "instituional racism", at least, not in the form of specific institutions manifesting a dislike of me, or a special treatment of me simply because of the color of my skin. These are all occurences between me and certain individuals, not between me and schools, companies, or policies.

The Democratic party shouts "institutional racism" where there is no institutionalized racism. This is not to suggest the idea, however, that there is absolutely no institutional racism. There absolutely is instituionalized racism.

A form of institutionalized racism exists in college admissions. When considering applicants, Asians are docked 50 points on their SAT scores(with SAT scores out of 1600). Hispanics are given 185 points on their SAT's, and African Americans are given 230 extra points. If I scored a 1300 on the SAT and grew up in a poor community with another white man, and an another Asian man, who scored 1480, and 1530 respectively on their SATs, I would be the one accepted into the college with one opening remaining because of the fact that I am an black man in America. That my friends, is institutionalized racism.

Interestingly enough, instituionalized racism might also be working against black Americans. In my elementary school, we had advanced classes for individuals who were ahead of the crowd. You cannot take someone who has not earned their right to be in advanced classes (or in college terms, a more prestigious university) and put them there solely based upon the fact that they are black. You are placing someone in a position where they are actually more likely to fail because they cannot keep up.

Rewarding someone based off factors other than merit can incentivise bad behaviour. As a matter of fact, it is suspected by some that America really doesn't just incentivise based off rase, but incentivises bad behaviour itself from giving money to the umemployed, to giving single mothers benefits for literally being single mothers. This is particularly interesting because the single motherhood rate has gone from 20% in the black community to a whopping 70% (from about the time of the civil rights movement). In the same time, the single motherhood rate in the white community has gone from 5% to 40%. These are actually pretty insane numbers. This is also where I had my epiphany.

Let's say the government literally says tomorrow, no more benefits for single mothers, you must work for yourselves, and pay for your children yourselves. What do you think the next thing is that is going to happen is? This might seem cynical, but it's true. Immediately the thought came to mind, that the amount of abortions would skyrocket. Wow! From one problem, straight to another. Lets say the next year comes, and abortions are outlawed, what happens next? The amount of contraceptives produced and consumed would skyrocket. Is this a good thing? Your answer to this question will heavily depend upon one crucial factor: Your faith in God.

A vast number of people, liberal in nature, might think it's good thing that the amount of contraceptives both produced and consumed would skyrocket. I, however, cannot. This is what lead to my epiphany. The problems that the American public are facing are religious in nature. In this particular case, one of the causes for the increase in the demand of contraceptives is pre-marital sex, of which the Bible specifically condemns.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  10  Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.  11  And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Single motherhood, abortions, increased contraceptive demand: these are all outgrowths of one specific behavioural pattern. It is stopping that behavioural pattern that will lead to the virtual disappearance of the vast majority of these three things.

The same can be said about other topics. I somewhat agree with Senator Sylvia Allen, that the problem of gun violence in America has nothing to do with the guns themselves. It has the souls of the very people who are picking up the guns, and committing the murderous acts. Black Americans kill each other more than any other minority group does, and black Americans die mostly at the hands of other black Americans. How does one fix this problem? I do not agree with her haphazard, un-American, and un-Christian idea that we should be debating laws that force Americans to go to a church of their choice on Sundays. We cannot force religion upon people, lest we become like the Roman Catholic Church in behaviour during the time of the inquisition. There is absolutely no problem with behaving like a Christian, and dedicating your life to benefitting the members of your community by preaching Christ, and true Christian values to others.

In my youth (specifically in middle school), I began to value education and hard work less and less, yet I still believed the ideas of racial discrimination (or at the least, they sat in the back of my mind). I began to distrust God, and eventually lost my faith until my search for Him began much later in High School. Today, I hold precisely the opposite to be true - that racial discrimination on an institutional basis, at least in the way the Democratic party claims, does not exist. I also value education (a true and proper education) along with hard work.

Bible religion values hard work. Solomon tells us that whatever we do, we are to do it with our might (Eccelsiate 9:10, paraphrasing). There is a lack of this value, particularly among the population who have a victim mentality. This is the same class of people who want to take someone else's hard work, and redistribute the wealth to poorest among us. Whether you think the worker deserves the money or not, this is theft. You do not have the right to someone else's hard earned money. For example, it does not matter if there is a room full of forty people, and one person has $20,000, and then the other thirty-nine individuals vote to take his money. The majority does not overrule basic human rights, and the objective moral truths which have their foundation in the Bible.

The destruction of America as a whole, is because of a rejection of the God of the Bible, and His truth. The principles of this country, were based upon His ideas. The only solution to changing things for the better in this country is not through policies, not through the winning debates, but through the introduction of Christ and His truth into the lives of others. This cannot be done by government force. I cannot stress this idea enough. One must individually work for their society (or as a group) and give individuals the free-will option to accept or reject the love and the ideas you present to them. We cannot legislate laws to force people to accept religion. As a general thing, enforcing any law with specific regards to the first four commandments, or any laws similar to them (or the 10th, since we cannot read hearts), is counter-productive, and un-Christlike. Rather, Bible religion must shine into the darkest depths of American society. Through this means many individuals may be lead happier lives, become a benefit to society, and most importantly, become saved (heaven-bound) individuals as America races towards it's destruction.
