Yes...I raised an orphaned squirrel...Altho, he would never hurt me, he sure had it in for my next door neighbor. Always jumping on the old man's back.

It guarding his Territory, don't get a dog, get a squirrel instead, they won't expect a him. Get more than one, have pack of them. You will never have to worry about intruders.

This is the second squirrel attacking someone, a burglar, a man reported the someone had broke into his home. The policeman ask the man what type animal he had. Puzzled he said a pet squirrel. The policeman said, I got the man already, he hollering about a squirrel attacking him and scratching him and biting him and not turning a louse, he was pretty bloody from what was said.

The man forgot to do something for the squirrel it was roaming around, better than a dog, surprise attack. Such cute little fellers, too.

Well that probably explains why it went nuts.

Good momma squirrel protecting her babies. Now if human moms would do the same, ie, against public school agendas, pedo boyfriends, etc. or it's rabid.
