The libertarian cross and its atheistic authoritarian opponents

"Bavarian leader Markus Söder has announced that crosses must hang in all the state's government buildings, saying the move is a "commitment to Bavarian identity and culture."

Outside Bavaria, many Germans were outraged. It is a violation of the separation of state and religion, they said. The same people who always call religion old-fashioned and who are against freedom of religion. And against the possession of weapons and for restricted freedom of expression and so on.

That is why I supported the law - for libertarian reasons.
