I think if they try this it will not be a replay of post JFK as people are not wired the same way as back in the early 60's. The inhibitions of that time no longer exist and a Warren Report won't cut it.
If they were smart they'd let Trump run his course knowing that they can reverse things in the future otherwise you are looking at major shitstorm that will not spare the guilty or the innocent and would probably last for years.
