The aircraft was certified to fly January 29th 2016. [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)] Who was the president while all of the testing was done? Are you done grasping at straws you anti-American, anti U.S. President, socialist, American hater? One day after the Ethiopian crash the FAA said the aircraft were airworthy. That happened while who was President? |

That plane was headed to storage with these MAXs. [link to twitter.com (secure)] lol, literally everything is Trumps fault with some of these tards. |

They are ALL currently grounded. “Quite an experience to live in fear, isn't it? That's what it is to be a slave.” "Hello, I need a replacement filter for a Hoover Max Extract 60 Pressure Pro." “You actually slaughter each other over affairs of the spirit.” Da’an Earth-Final Conflict |

New planes should be safer than old planes with all brand new working parts. But lately Boeing has come out with dangerous new planes. The 787 was grounded after batteries started to catch fire on the plane luckily happening only on the ground. But now you have this 737max fiasco and 350 dead test subjects. |

Midwest Skeptic User ID: 77374864 United States 03/26/2019 07:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What's he problem? Quoting: Midwest Skeptic A cruise ship is A-OK to carry passengers if ALL 4 of it's 4 engines fail as it cruises right offshore a rocky shore in a gale ... ... obviously a plane only having a problem with 1 of it's TWO (2) engines isn't a big deal by comparison. Nothing to see here ... Of course if you were on that plane Everything still ok??? Actually was on a United flight once where they had to shut down an engine (two engine plane), and then we had to fly around for about 90 minutes to burn off fuel so we could get down to a safe landing weight. Wasn't worried at all ... lots of sightseeing at about 2000' - 3000' above the ground for about an hour of that fuel burn period. Friend who is a Captain for a US airline lost an engine (2 engine plane) over the North Atlantic a few years ago ... and the cockpit crew made the decision to continue on to Europe (vs diverting to Iceland) since everything else was OK. The passengers in the back weren't even aware that they were flying on a single engine fwiw. I would rather be on a twin engine plane that loses an engine in the air, even over the ocean, than to have been on that cruise ship which lost ALL of it's engines when only a short distance offshore from a rocky shore with the wind and waves blowing the boat toward shore. ... now the issue with the runaway trim system caused by the computer on the MAX planes NOT allowing the pilots to actually fly the airplane, THAT scares the shit out of me!! How about building the original 737's again, Boing boing. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77048515 Or better yet, 757's. . There is a checklist to disable it, but the 2 bad cabin crews did not even know about that checklist. What surprises me is that there's no tapes released of "Mayday" and emergency communication with ATC. Does this "stability" override disable radio communication? I sort of want to hear the pilot say "I can't get the fucking nose of the plane up", and if so they would have called some check pilot for advice, been told about the checklist or how to disable the thing, and maybe had time to do it. .
