In the Original Originals he was all gold. Then they Mandela'd him to have a silver leg in the re-releases.

Always had it. Mirror effect. Less noticeable but still an issue on the 90s remastered.

I saw the movie in the theater twice when it first came out. Had the figurines as well. Also had other toys like puzzles and die cast mini figurines. This really surprised me.

yep same here..it was a favourite, and a silver leg would be something i'd have noticed and remembered because it's such an oddity

I wonder why if in the movie it is now and was silver, why the original toys would not reflect this?

they have the capability to send back in time individual bits of data (i forget the term the scientist use but you can find this information), so they can alter words such as a script and the movie will change accordingly..perhaps images also but i don't think actual physical things, not yet anyway..these things, like berenstein bears and others were all just tests, they had to use something popular people will notice or else it's hard to know if the experiment worked

Mandela effect explanation for all of you :

This fake world is created by our beliefs, that s why the most important war is about in-formations.

Why do things have changed? Because all that happens in this illusion is THE SUM OF ALL PEOPLE S BELIEFS.

Which means that when there are more than 50.01% of the population remembering something different, it changes in the illusion.

if you believe that you will believe anything..it doesn't make sense, alot of people noticed these changes long before it became mainstrean, even now it would be a stretch to say 50% of people believe it's changed

I don't remember no silver leg but the reflection argument can hold weight so I'll pass.

I remember as a kid the life size animatronic in the Star Tours ride always had a silver leg. I first rode that in the very early 90's and I recall that being the first time I noticed it.

Re: Did C3PO from Star Wars have a one silver leg? I don't remember that.
Despite his oblivious nature, C-3PO has played a pivotal role in the galaxy's history, appearing under the service of Shmi Skywalker, the Lars homestead, Padmé Amidala, Raymus Antilles, Luke Skywalker, and Leia Organa. In the majority of depictions, C-3PO's physical appearance is primarily a polished gold plating, although his appearance varies throughout the films; including the absence of metal coverings in The Phantom Menace, a dull copper plating in Attack of the Clones, a silver lower right leg introduced in A New Hope, and a red left arm in The Force Awakens.[3]

NEVER HAD A SILVER LEG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now C3PO has black on his palms. The reason I know that is fake is because I remember the hands more than anything else. They fascinated me. There was never a black palm... but now thats the latest Mandela change to his body. There are some very subtle facial changes but they are so subtle they are hardly noticable. The black palms.... NO FREAKIN WAY....
