Idk, you may be right on some points, but from what I've observed in the past few weeks is: first, Kamala had that rally in Oakland where tens of thousands attended, then hit the town hall which was a success too. At that time it almost seemed like she was already the shoe in for the DNC. But I feel like since then things have cooled off, considerably. After those two public events, the video of her as AG laughing about locking up poor parents of kids who were truant started to be widely circulated and she has been rightfully condemned for that. Also Willie brown stories began to circulate more widely. Then she was seen shaking her head at the sotu when Trump was talking about taking down the cartels and ms13 which believe it or not, was a gigantic show of character flaw as I still vividly remember it as well as my parents who are both independent, and it disgusted them.
