Something fucked up about there already being 6 Catholics and 3 juice on the US supreme court and now Trump is tapping yet another catholic. What about representing the other 85% of the country? This is fucked up and proof of an anti protestant conspiracy

What worries you about a Catholic judge? Which Catholic belief do you take issue with or which Catholic belief do you think will prevent a Catholic judge from objectively upholding the law? Do you have historical evidence to back up this claim?

I’ll skip your response.

Catholic moral beliefs are in line with common sense, with nature itself. The Catholic Church believes its teachings are true not because it says so, but because those teachings are the eternal unchangeable truth as God designed it from the beginning of time. Murder is wrong, abortion is wrong, stealing is wrong, the union of a man and woman is sacred, etc. The law in America is basically supposed to work the same way, right because it’s right, not because some men voted it so. That’s why we have a constitution which grants us inaleanable rights which the Constitution says are endowed to all men by their creator. Catholic beliefs have never been an issue when it comes to interpreting America’s laws. Whatever idea you have about some Catholic conspiracy to usher in the reign of the antichrist, it’s wrong and is at best ignorance, and worst clinically delusional. You know what Catholics believe and it’s not a secret.

It always astonishes me how intensely forceful the willful ignorance of Catholics has been throughout the ages.

I mean, the RCC not only encourages the violation of just about every basic tenet of Christianity, but it also institutes these bald-faced violations as their SOP. And the followers are completely blind to it all, defending blasphemies and mockeries of God's word.

The reality is literally the opposite. It's the other Christian denominations that are straying from the teachings of Christ and caving to the culture (abortion, gay marriage, etc) while the Catholic Church stands strong as its' teachings on faith and morals have never changed.

By the way, how about answering my question? What worries you about a Catholic judge? Which Catholic belief do you take issue with or which Catholic belief do you think will prevent a Catholic judge from objectively upholding the law? Do you have historical evidence to back up this claim?
