I'm curious. I don't know much about this, but when I went to look at the map, I saw another Alaska quake from 2 hours ago:

Type: EarthQuake
Magnitude: 3.1
DateTime: 2019-04-02 15:04:14
Region: 128km NE of Arctic Village, Alaska
Depth: 0
Source: USGS Feed

I thought the depth of 0 was weird, so I went and looked it up and found this:
"For quarry blasts that are recorded by the seismic network, the depth is fixed at 0 km since we can never determine a precise depth for these, but we know they are very close to the surface."
(less than 50%)

I wonder if the 0 depth quake (quarry blast?) could have triggered the 6.5?

True peace, happiness, contentment and self-worth come from within, and cannot be given, or taken away, by any person or thing.

The Golden Rule Solves Everything.

Please ask yourself "Have I sufficiently listened to both sides, before forming my opinion on matters of debate?" If not, you might want to re-think your position.

Favorite green karma quote: "Never stop being weird."

Favorite (anonymous) red karma quote: "Seventeen gophers can fit up your asshole." I found that to be quite impressive! Yay me!!
