And answering your question: no, there is not a single proof of extra-terrestrial life so far. But then again, we can't assume anything. The portion of the universe known is like comparing a drop of water with the whole ocean, being what we know as the drop of water.

It is my contention that the search for life beyond
our atmosphere is futile.

As a species humans cannot comprehend to complexity
