Make anyone who contacts you describe the ring -- yellow or white gold, total carat weight of the stones, shape of stones, number of stones, size of ring, etc.
Quoting: Lady Jane Smith Or a pic of themselves wearing said ring Quoting: JL2 That also would work, or the sales receipt from when it was purchased. I have all the sales receipts, appraisals, and insurance riders on my jewelry -- my jeweler also maintains records of what I have.
