| Anonymous Coward User ID: 69639166 United States04/03/2019 06:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You are right...try to find its owner...when I was broke and living in a freaking motel , I found a wallet at walmart stuffed with money, four hundred bucks plus bank cards....i knew immediately i couldnt live with myself if I kept it...I called a lady's number in it and it was the owners grandma...she was so relieved and in full panic mode...she was working there jobs just to make ends meet and bills due. ....another time , also in a Wal-Mart, my kids and i found two hundred dollar bills on the floor...I heard a guy talking about losing them to an employee, and I kept it anyway. ...I will never forgive myself for it...it may have belonged to him...years later, I still feel guilt.place a found ad in your local paper, social media,etc...make anyone claiming its theirs tell you the exact spot you found it in...make them describe it in full detail....do not include any details in your ads...only the person who left it there will know. You will love yourself for it later...and while you're at it, perhaps reevaluate your relationship with your girlfriend. ....is that the type of woman you really want to be with? You are a good person, I'm proud of you. Life is filled with little tests sometimes, it really is! If nobody claims it after six months, maybe save it someplace safe, place an ad once in a while...don't give up. Someone's heart is surely broken over this loss. Pray for guidance to find the owner.
