The answer would be: not really.

Israel Asks for a King

10Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who were asking him for a king. 11He said, “This is what the king who will reign over you will claim as his rights: He will take your sons and make them serve with his chariots and horses, and they will run in front of his chariots. 12Some he will assign to be commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and others to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and still others to make weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. 13He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. 14He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive groves and give them to his attendants. 15He will take a tenth of your grain and of your vintage and give it to his officials and attendants. 16Your male and female servants and the best of your cattle c and donkeys he will take for his own use. 17He will take a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will become his slaves. 18When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, but the Lord will not answer you in that day.”

19But the people refused to listen to Samuel. “No!” they said. “We want a king over us. 20Then we will be like all the other nations, with a king to lead us and to go out before us and fight our battles.”

21When Samuel heard all that the people said, he repeated it before the Lord. 22The Lord answered, “Listen to them and give them a king.”

I am NOT from Israel. If Israelites want a king, that's their decision. That does not apply to me.

Your bible quote proves that he is a dictator and wants even to be loved with an honest heart instead of just receiving obedience out of hypocrisy. Although he should know that this is impossible for people with self-respect.

This God is crazy and not very smart. He has no leadership qualities and he knows nothing about psychology. But the true God is not like that. This God in whom you believe is the spiritual projection of ancient dominions, for example in Pharaonic Egypt. We are now in the 21th century and these methods of fear mongering no longer work.

God does not judge and He's no dictator. Those are Reptilians who put it in the religious books. No one else. God is pure love.

This God does not require your love, your righteousness in the first place. You may or may not to love Them, but you have to stop being wicked.

That's the way it is. And that is why the Bible is irrelevant. The Bible is only a completely outdated law book.

It's not me who is wicked, self-proclaimed experts are. It's time for a coup. It is time to overthrow the master of this world and his servants, whether they call themselves priests or pastors or rabbis or muftis or lawyers or scientists. It is time to put an end to their rule.

Then what, some new faces again, with no viable ideas again. Round and round you go ...

Socities go through cycles and either survive them or do not.

We mean this one to survive, hence we are aware that an "American style authoritarian" period must be endured and passed through in order to bring back the power and freedoms we once enjoyed.

There is a difference between authoritarian and despot.
Assertion to right and takeover to destruction.

We already had despotic regimes in Europe that supposedly only wanted to restore authority, and they were horrible. I prefer humanity to die out rather than accept this again. The people who survive such a regime are traumatised for life and pass this on to their children. I am one of these children.

I was therefore never really viable, and I curse every authoritarian regime that in this way still causes suffering among later generations. I was already dead when I was born, capisce? You have NO idea what you are talking about.

I do not know your American problems, but in an authoritarian solution to your problems many innocent people will die and your hands will then be as bloody as the hands of the Europeans, who in the last century have taken on so much guilt. You Americans will then no longer be able to say that you are the good guys. But that's your business not mine. *shrug*
