There is more to a crypto than just the crypto. This is the era of payments and remittances. Which is the best horse (crypto) to dominate the field?

Visa is not to be left in the dust. They have spent millions for Earthport, a Ripple partner. The new era we are definitely in now is the era of payments and remittances. Creative disruption and destruction now underway. And as usual the US government is too slow to act and make frictionless what is coming.

Why did Ripple hire a Facebook executive?
Why did Ripple post this on Twitter about Facebook,

There is more to a crypto than the coin. It must have a development team behind it nurturing partnerships, lobbying legislators, developing the network payment rails and exchange partnerships for liquidity, and infrastructure for interoperability such as the inter ledger protocol.

Sam, a Youtuber, builds a case comparing the top coins. See for yourself based on stats of the various coins and see which one you think will be the best coin for cross border payments. Regarding BTC, that it will magically take over the banking system

Which coin makes vostro and nostro accounts obsolete, (trillions of dollars no longer need to be tied up by banks for international cross border transactions).
Which coin is a threat to the SWIFT system?
Which coin is name dropped by WTO, IMF, and the White House?
Which coin has over 200 partnerships now?
Which coin's foundation is nurturing the ecosystem buildout with standards in mind and nurturing the WC3 consortium's goal of making distributed ledgers inter operable?
Do you think banks would want that coin in question?

Why is a Kenya telecom company interested in a banking license?

Who else is interesting in banking? Charlie Lee partnered with a bank.
Wietse Wind, creator of the XRP tipbot seeking a European banking license.

The genie is out of the bottle now on crypto. Good or bad, it will change everything. The tokenization of everything and placing it on a distributed ledger is underway.

They want in and they will usher in the next wave. Resist or play, it is your decision alone.
