I have a buddy who owns a door and window company. Lots of orders coming in from contractors who have reached the stage of building where they are ready to install the doors/windows but many are telling him they don't have many contracts on the books yet for next spring...but this probably varies area to area...I'm reading articles that Manhattan real estate is tanking but you could make the argument that it had become way over priced and New York's high taxes are keeping prospective buyers away...
