All they would have to do is show the genuine evidence, then show some pictures of American's being mistreated in Saudi Arabia, then other foreigners being enslaved in Saudi Arabia, bam, instant public support to glass them.

A member of the Saudi Royal family should have a drug overdose as a warning to the House of Saud. After all the blood America spilled for them,they are permanently America's bitch.

Our oil is tied to the dollar and we have more now. Let them use pesos or rupies and see how that works out for them. Yuan maybe? Dollar is king. They know that.

Now of course there are limits to their power over the US. You'll know those limits have been breached when you start seeing a lot of negative press about SA. Then you'll know that the US has decided to make another failed state.

So SA will use their power without overplaying their hand. The petrodollar will remain their trade currency and the US will be Saudi's pit bull.

The US doesn't want dollars flowing in. That doesn't make a reserve currency work well. The US wants a lot more dollars going out than coming in.

And much of US oil is consumed domestically.

We need a 'gold backed' dollar like we used to have.

We need to get these idiots out of government that are hurting our country period.

This is got to be done in order to compete and stop this FED take over and ruination of our country.

ok, so I'm surprised I haven't seen anybody discuss this yet, so I'll throw it out there.

I don't know the figures, but i do know that a ridiculous amount of "money" is tied up in the oil trade, because that is the currency in which oil is traded in. If they switch, it would send likely billions (maybe trillions...not sure) of fiat paper money back into circulation.

Well, what happens to the demand of something when a supply instantly surges? It tanks, right?

If this is true, the value of our currency around the world will sink. As a result, our stock market will plummet.

Well...who owns the stocks in the stock market? Is it the average joe? Or is it a very select few at the top of the food chain. They are the ones that will torpedo it when they feel they need to, buy pulling their money out at the same time.

Well, if the see this, what are they likely to do? The will likely all take their funds out, which should cause the market to plunge further.

What happens to all of that money? It is destroyed, and a new, gold backed dollar is inserted in it's place. I think there will be an exchange process where all "old" dollars will be exchanged for new, but since they now have a tangible value backing it, the value of the new dollar will soar.

And with that, the inventory of fiat currency will be destroyed, and the gold standard will be re-inserted.
