Further, you have yet to really outline a practical solution, emphasis on practical, to ameliorate what you see as America's shortcomings. Raise interest rates to 7% or whatever you'd consider an acceptable level? Minor benefit to those looking for interest bearing instruments for income. Until/unless we get focused on local government making decisions for local citizenry and reserve only issues that are truly national in scope for Washington, the cancer will continue to grow.
