I was in Ikea. I buy their cowhides because they are inexpensive and a good product. Well they have a new line of "acid washed" hides. Looks like splattered acid on the hides and filled in with blue or red dye.

Cowhides do shed in some parts, like little patches will lose hair. But this is from diseased, weak animals, or maybe something else.

What is going on with Swedish livestock lately???
