Clove is for a tooth ache and infection, it will not stop dry socket and replace the missing blood clot from my experience.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69101369 All four blood clots were accidentally flushed out too soon. Narrow strips of gauze soaked in oil of Clove were inserted into the exposed socket by the oral surgeon using tweezers. They were removed/replaced with fresh ones as necessary. Every couple of days. The sockets eventually reduced in size and closed up.
