Poor thing. My sympathies. It will be a while before she bounces back from that. I hope someone has good insurance and can stay in Rehab for 3 months! That looks like both legs non weight bearing, 3 months at least. Surgery on both legs. Prayers!

Anyway a bad leg break does not mean end of career for a sports person if they get the right modern treatment. A UFC fighter got his broken leg repaired using things like titanium rods but also other advanced techniques like stem cells and came back to win major fights, which include kicking people hard with your once broken leg and getting it kicked.. So yea i think if treated right there's no reason why she cant have legs even stronger than before.

Wow! Dislocated both knees. Torn ligaments would end her career. Good thing she is bright and in college already. What sad though is a lot of times gymnast get fat easily if they don't work out regularly.

Was a distraction anyway, she should forget about her champion gymnast career and focus on something that provides long term realistic income ie her college work. Hope she gets nearly complete recovery for walking and running tho. But no more backflips for her.
