Mayor Bill de Blasio declared a public health emergency on Tuesday and has ordered mandatory vaccinations for people who may have been exposed to the virus in parts of Williamsburg amid a growing measles outbreak. Quoting: Putin's Voluntaryist Since September, the city said more than 250 measles cases have been confirmed in the Brooklyn neighborhood. "We have a situation now where children are in danger. We have to take this seriously. Every one of us has to feel responsibility for the situation because measles is so contagious, can spread so quickly," de Blasio said at news conference at a Williamsburg library on Tuesday morning. Under the order, unvaccinated people, including children over 6 months old, who live or work within zip codes 11205, 11206, 11221 and 11249 will be required to get an MMR vaccine. Members of the city's Health Department will check the vaccination records of any individual who may have been in contact with infected patients. Those who have not received the vaccine or do not have evidence of immunity may be given a violation and could be fined $1,000. “There’s no question that vaccines are safe, effective and life-saving,” de Blasio said. “I urge everyone, especially those in affected areas, to get their MMR vaccines to protect their children, families and communities.” The order will remain in effect through April 17. Same thing that happened with doctor patient confidentiality, as far as I know that was the basis of Roe vs Wade? The same people pushed in the Affordable Care Act making the electronic medical records mandatory and the government and insurance companies have access to all your records, no privacy. I noticed that Planned Parenthood's mission statement has completely changed. I had reason to look it up years ago when I was sure they had violated it by the way they treated me. It used to say their reason for being was to protect individual women's power over their own medical treatment. Which they did not stand up for at all when I dealt with them. It doesn't say anything about a woman's right to choose her medical treatment now. I guess they don't stand for that any more. |

Fuck them and their vaccines, my daughter was supposed to get a series of 3 shots for hpv or some shit, after the second set she locked up in pain a few days later after and couldn’t walk. Took a week for her to recover, we thought she was gonna be paralyzed. Took her to a neurologist , they didn’t know wtf? I read up on those vaccines and saw kids were getting paralyzed and never walking again. I went to her doctor and had them put in her chart no more vaccines . They still tryed for a year after to give it to her when she went for checkups. My wife told me after the second time they pestered her for daughter to get shot. I went up there and told them that if they gave my daughter the shot , I would kill ALL of them and their families. They never asked again.
