When you have simple taxes so you can do it yourself. I don’t think the IRS would ever “do” your taxes.

I had simple taxes this year TurboTax made me think it would be free got to the end and they advertised $59.99 for nothing really then after I said yes it said ok that will $150. That’s when I realized it was “$59.99 *” and not actually $59.99. I guess the little star represents 100 bucks now. Went on HR block and they also wanted to charge money. Ended up getting through H&R Block free by removing one of the options I actually needed to use and sent it by mail.

Why should I be charged money to pay the government money?

What other explanation besides corruption is there for not being able to do it on the IRS website. It’s blatant. There is no explanation besides protecting a special interest’s profits
