I would rather be in good health as I grow old and not have cancer. Then just die in my sleep peacefully.

Ima keep eating steak and potatoes, drinking beer, and smoking weed. The exercise is just to keep the wife bang'n.

What will really happen is shit for you. You'll live so long that you'll spend the last 15-20 years of your life wishing you were dead and out live your mind. I watch people like you die for a living. Fuck that, not for me. Me. . . heart attack, poof, gone. Cancer, shotgun, bang, gone.
 Quoting: TriggaDre

It is always better to die young than to live to see the insult to life that is old age or its accompanying morbidities and maladies, something no one deserves nor should have be to experience or be subject to under any belief system.

At that point one has just overstayed their welcome, and should know it, but does not, because their most basic instinct of 'survival' has overtaken their mind, usurping their sensibilities and reason, and they cannot even relinquish their pathetic excuse of a 'life' because of that, when it otherwise would be a perfectly acceptable solution, and morally justified.

I can see your point, but don't really know how this would work out. Are there traditional ways that people did this? I want to say I've read fiction books where, say, an old wise person felt it was the end of their lives, and wandered off never to return, but I don't know how they went about it. Did they just lay down in the woods and expose themselves to the cold? Did they leap from a cliff?

Simple. To die with dignity; if it is not one's time, one would know it...
