LDN really helps that out better than most things since, again, it activates the cell lines that fight it, and the pain, fatique and swelling enough so that most of the rest can be dealt with with nonsteroidal antiinflammatories.
What most do NOT understand is that NSAIDs DO NOT EXHIBIT ANTIINFLAMMATORY ACTIVITY if only taken intermittantly,
You need to take it for a while and regularly to deplete your body of inflammatory mediating/promoting chemicals the body makes which is THE final common pathway for almost ALL pain in the body due to soft tissue damage and inflammation, regardless the cause.

For your wife, what she would benefit from most is a combination of LDN, daily (smallish) doses of ibuprofen or other tolerated NSAIDS taken whether you feel they work or not because it can take a few weeks to kick in all the way.
The chitinase, and consider just rotating for the heck of annoying the yeast OR the obligate intracellular Lyme parasite organisms with a electronic DC muscle twitch device like for 20 minutes one time a day on every limb once a day, like the old Hulda Clarke zapper, but at maximum tolerance, which will build up over time. The old zapper is too weak IMHO, AND if you intend to zap the parasites do the maximum tolerable, and anyway, it also elevates endorphins, like proper use of LDN does.

Your body is able to absorb the vit c, without stomach upset. It will super tune her immune system and help her fight it off. All you need is an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner, vit c powder ( good quality-cant remember the specifications), Lecithin, baking soda, water. Super easy to do! I've done it a million times.

Also, Colloidal silver saved me when I had cellulitis that was pretty gnarly. But, that was a skin infection which is totally different than what she's got going on. I have no idea how to advise. I would research it online, thoroughly.

If you are able to get naltrexone prescribed, it is very easy to dilute it into low dose naltrexone without a compounding pharmacy. The pills are 50 mg. Dissolve one 50 mg tab in 50 ml of distilled water, let it disolve and shake it up. Store it in a glass container in your refrigerator. 1ml = 1mg. There are lots of videos out there on the subject. I have personally done my own compounding and treated my CFS/Fibro/autoimmune issues.

I was about to post recommending LDN, however, I did run across some possible issues with candida. I would just research the issue. I didn't post becuase I wasn't positive either way. This drug in low dose is miraculous for many.

The T4 lymphocytes are a major cell line that fights fungi and parasites and since they have endorphin receptors on them to make them function stimulating endorphin production leads to known benefits in fighting virus, fungi, parasitic disease and cancer.
That doesn't mean that's all you might need, but without maximizing that, anything else you try will be less effective since the T4 lymphocyte line is what kills the bad stuff and why when you don't have any or if they are not stimulated, people don't respond to drugs or therapies than should work in normal, younger people. Being endorphin depleted is very much like having AIDS.
