I generally use 20 karma points a couple times a month to self-pin my threads...but the REST OF THE GREEN is given out to other members or to upgrade members (at 100 a shot.) I host caption contests most months--sometimes 2 or 3--to upgrade A.C.s to full members too, so it goes fast. Ive been around since 2012 (and decades before that as an A.C.)
