Faith the size of a Mustard seed, moving mountains etc.
that kind of faith.. I wont go into details. But i have had faith (COMPLETE FAITH) in soooo many things and especially PEOPLE to absolutely NO AVAIL..so you tell me what gives brah?
Is having FAITH a bill of goods that sounds real good but doesnt pay off in the end? Now dont get me wrong. I accept as true that there is a God on complete faith and have experience divine intervention several times.. etc.
but the whole. "Go in faith, Through faith, healed by faith, you can do all things with faith.. doesnt hasnt held up in the face of my life experience. just saying..

Forgive me if all of this has already been given to you. I have not yet read through the thread yet.
The first two scriptures below, Mark 11:23-24, tell me we are to believe that we will receive what we have asked for. For me, the only way I know how to show that I believe I have received my request is to give thanks for it. Instead of keep praying for the same thing over and over. I will instead say thank you, Lord, for what I have asked for. I have noticed in scripture that Christ often gave thanks before His great miracles of feeding the thousands.
Mark 11:23-24 NKJV For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Now the next scripture says to forgive. Apparently, receiving our requests has a bearing on whether or not we are holding a grudge against another.
Mark 11:25 NKJV “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.
So, that is how we are to go about moving mountains, as I see it. Patience goes with it. As Peter said, I believe it was Peter who said: Let patience have it's perfect work.
Now also, about moving mountains. We can even do something greater than that, if you are interested. We can move God.
1 John 5:14-15 NKJV Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
The key here is that it has to be according to His will. What is His will? Health, Happiness, Joy, all the virtues, and all the promises made throughout the bible. Of course there is the: If, then and Buts. (do this and the conditions, etc.) We are here to be blessed.
About trusting friends:
It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. Psalms 118:8
Jeremiah 17:5 NKJV Thus says the Lord:
“Cursed is the man who trusts in man
And makes flesh his strength,
Whose heart departs from the Lord.
And there are many more scriptures about trusting man instead of God. Lord knows I have been there!
As Christ said: We can do nothing without Him.
