If Assange was carried out of the embassy he technically didn't step foot on British soil since the embassy was the sovereign power of Ecuador. Maybe the van was an American van painted as a British one. Has anyone really seen him since he was extracted? If he never stood on British soil would he have to go thru British courts? Maybe I've watched too many movies.
