Domestic cats have devestated our wild bird population here and do so world wide. At this time of the year particulary, wild birds are more concerned with building nests and famlies.

Before the family bit can start, prospective parents are killed whilst they are on the ground getting nest building materials. Then, when they have young, the adults are picked off and then not just them, but the whole nest of chicks dies too.

The impact of domestic cats on the wold bird population can not be underestimated, especially when you factor that a lot of wild birds are drawn to human habitation.

In the summer here when it is hot its great o have the windows open. However I usually have to slam them shut because of the screaming from some rabbit that has been caught by a cat. It sounds like a baby if you dont know.

On and on it goes until the rabbit has a heart attack if it is lucky.

Cats kill for fun, not for food and do it in the most sadistic ways. I hate what they do and I hate their presence.
