attempted hack?

any security experts here? so today i get a text the guy or girl was kinda rude asking me stupid questions being sarcastic. i have an add on CL so i then get a text google sending me a code like when you forget your password the rude man text me back asking if i got the code wtf is this all about? anyone know i called the number it was tied to a texting service please help any info i would like to know.
