the 'mandela effect' is depicted in the movie 1984.

it' caused by the ministry of propoganda lying about huge things and people barely conscious of it.

i remember in Italy they would report Bush had been assassinated when he was president to make the stock market go down and buy up stocks.

and you know it's the same people there, as here as everywhere

waht's really amazing is how even if the supernatural, God, heaven hell is all made real and indisputable right before your mind's eye, your actual eye and the pain of hell shoots down your spine,

your first thougth would be

how can I make a profit off this??

So here is what I think happens.

Our universe is made of billions of billions of small details.

But our universe does not store details, it stores choices and probabilities.

Archived data is restored based on probabilities.

was it a gray hat or a black hat? the universe chooses -
Once the choice is made - it has to keep the past consistent with the present.

The scary part is:

The present collective state of mind will define the whole of reality.

In multidimensional reality theory, all data IS stored in the first dimension. However, people or even powerful enough computers can, in a limited way, access and manipulate that data by will or by accident.

This is what telekinesis is, albeit rare...
 Quoting: BRIEF

data has 1 dimension by definition.
Data + consciousness is really all there is
Data is essentially a collection of definitions/rules/objects with probability distributions.

Example - do you really think every molecule of air would be encoded? that would be a stupid system. Waste of resources!
Same goes for cloud patterns, the intricate details of the ground, what's inside the ground.
Until you (or any other consciousness makes an observation) - it's all probabilities.
You observe it, the universe chooses a state (randomly pulls a value out the probability hat) and that's what you get.

I don't know if we can have direct influence on what gets pulled out of the 'probability hat' ...however, experiments show we can have an influence on the content of the 'probability hat'

We can skew the outcome.
 Quoting: JADR+

My understanding is that atoms are stable probability events

Of course it is possible to track them all

But why would you

Chaos theory covers this in exhustive detail

Water behaves in predictable ways, but water molecules themselves have a multiplicity of outcomes it may achieve without precursor indication of that outcome

Yet it all follows gravity

Seems to me propagation of the so called Mandela effect theory is is a psyop designed to get the masses to accept the rewriting of history.

There is just a bunch of algorithms based on probabilities. The probabilities are based on the rules of the universe. Everything is possible, but not everything is probable.

Once in a while the improbable happens. (Otherwise the world would be boring!)

That's the great thing about probability distributions - everything can be modelled like that.

Even every previous state that led do a given state in the present can be probability distributions.

It's the ultimate compression method - only issue is, it's a "lossy compression"

"lossy compression or irreversible compression is the class of data encoding methods that uses inexact approximations and partial data discarding to represent the content. These techniques are used to reduce data size for storing, handling, and transmitting content."

It's pretty good, If it wasn't our world would be a wacky dream like circus with inconsistent crazy shit happening all the time.

But it totally fucks up on small unimportant details, especially after they have not been on anyone's mind for a while.

Hence the Mandela effect

Also, what seems a bug in our popular culture, is also an important feature in nature and biological evolution.
Evolution happens much faster than anyone would imagine

"The battle for the mind of North America will be fought in the video arena: the Videodrome. The television screen is the retina of the mind's eye. Therefore, the television screen is part of the physical structure of the brain. Therefore, whatever appears on the television screen emerges as raw experience for those who watch it. Therefore, television is reality, and reality is less than television."

We're entering savage new times, and we're giong to have to be pure and direct and strong, if we're going to survive them. Now, you and this cesspool you call a television station and your people who wallow around in it, your viewers who watch you do it, they're rotting us away from the inside. We intend to stop that rot."
