Why do you follow a religion or teaching or ideology that betrays your bloodline

Such as "Christianity" or "Islam", etc. when for all intents and purposes, these religious fanatics slaughtered, raped, and exterminated your blood line and kin century's ago? No you adopt a set of ideologies founded on another groups superstition and mythology, yet you have abandoned the roots of your blood line - which would have been considered "pagan" post conversion.

I feel sorry for you. You have abandoned your blood line, your kin, and your chance to be with them again. ...go ahead an kneel to the god that slaughtered your bloodline, exterminating branches of your family tree that will NEVER be viable...
