To carry God's name (Shem in hebrew) means to take on his nature, character, and authority. The greek word for name in the New Testament is Onoma and it also means nature, character, and authority. The only way to be changed is to surrender to God your own nature, character, and authority and take on Jesus nature, character, and authority. The Holy Spirit makes this possible.

This is the ONLY path to redemption in this universe. Nothing else will be effective. NOTHING ELSE. There is no other name under heaven in which men are saved.

Back before the advent of fire... 'nature of a man' was survival and procreation.

Since then we have communities that are fighting over 'what is' and 'what is not' acceptable. So if you want a modern day man's nature to change:


1) Complete truth. NOT 'perceived' truth but the only facts that are true and correct - hence 'complete truth'. Those who disagree are afraid of the truth as it will make them do anything to avoid paying a price for it. Hence - honest people stay honest and are not afraid.

2) To 'change' a man starts with #1 above but then also what exactly you are trying to change about them?

There are many ways to 'change the nature of a man' but it all starts with being honest about whatever it is you are seeking to change - something almost everybody can not do.

God. And only God.

His Spirit can make any man holy and beautiful and blissful, if one submits to Him.

First, define for me what you mean by 'nature of a man'!

Are you suggesting that all men have the same nature, or are you referring to one man in particular?
