also, the winters were more consistent in terms of, once it became cold, it stayed cold, and snow would actually accumulate over a period of 2-3 months, then there would be a big melt

now its like snow storm one week, melt the next week, etc.

I have noticed the seasons are off by about a month. It’s been this was for a few years now. At least in Arkansas but we always have the random cold front that comes early or late. So it not really sure but even my grandparents and mom who don’t pay any attention have noticed it being off some. So I don’t know I think it’s more of the sun just switching cycles and we have l gotten used to the maximum cycle and the weather it creates.

Last few years in East TX have been great, Winters and summers have been mild.

Around this time of year I get the bug to plant shit around the garden. Almost every time I loose some of it, sometimes all of it because for my entire life the last frost date is may 14. I've known this since my childhood. It's extremely normal to get cold blasts and frosts in april.

Just because humans have set up a winter summer spring and fall over the last 500 years...doesn't mean SHIT to the earths time table.

It's the planets, Uranus in Taurus, Saturn, Pluto in Capricorn, all are cold signs. Soon Saturn will go into Aquarius another cold sign. Look for things weather-wise to ramp up more so than what we've seen.... & will get worse! Back when I was a child I remember bad cold brutal winters, (In the midwest) lasting forever! I just looked up the ice out records for Minnesota lakes. Looking at a few lakes with the largest data set available, such as Lake Minnetonka, for which ice out records date to 1857, I see very little evidence for what you are claiming.
