Republicans can balance their checkbooks and manage their credit cards just fine. Republicans are not particularly interested in entitlements outside of those services that are necessary and have become part of this system. Republicans don't necessarily want to eliminate entitlement programs, but push an uphill battle to reform many of these programs that have become corrupt and wasteful so that necessary entitlement programs can be more effective and efficient and help those that are actually in need rather than just toss benefits out the window to parasites.

Debt is part of the fiat monetary system. So what if Republicans or people in general have some degree of credit card, bank loan, or student loan debt. These people can manage their own comfortable level of debt. People enjoy the privilege of being able to make a purchase that they require or desire. They do so with debt because they are confident in the economy and their ability to pay those debts. The economy and employment is strong and growing under the Trump admin and consumers are very confident of their personal finances.

And why do leftists assume republicans are their only adversary?

We all have factual reasons why we hate our neighbors and other undesirables. That isn't news.

Thing is, Liberals really cannot be in debt since the gov't pays their bills. They just get their vehicles repo'd and live in slums.
