And it depends on the age of the children and if the mother is able to sleep while the man is at work.

I know a guy who works 16 hour days. He comes home and his bitch of a wife is like here it’s your turn and disappears. This dude never sleeps. Literally never. He is getting sick from it. She feeds the kid and puts it in front of a tv and takes a nap. She basically sleeps all day. Then sleeps some more when he gets home.

It is give and take and choosing of battles wisely. When you start putting beliefs ahead of others then you are only selfish. Man or woman. And it is great, his wife Mia is part angel (to deal with his shit) part mouthy bitch (to deal with his shit) and occasionally joins the show.

My brother is a stay at home dad. My sister-in-law has greater earning potential and they don't want to raise their children in day care. My SIL is a great mom - as soon as she gets home she looks forward to spending time with the kids. They put in their equal time taking care of the kids. They make a great team.

Do you think she sits around the house all day watching TV? If there's 2 or more little ones that he helped make, she is running after them all day while trying to do laundry, clean house, cook meals, shop, etc.

Is it asking too much if he take out the trash, put in/take out the dishes in the dishwasher while she gets the little ones ready for bed? I'm sure that wouldn't break his tired little back. A little bit of evening help will do wonders for both of them before sleep. Marriage means sharing the load.

Working 12 hrs of hard labor construction work was not as hard and stressful as 6 hrs at home with my two in diapers.
