YIELD SIGN EFFECT: What color is the US 'yield sign' ? (19 PAGES - still no consensus after 3 years!! TIME PARADOX EVIDENCE???)

I think it's supposed to be the one who got there first. I usually wave the other person on.

Yield signs are supposed to be red and white since the early 70's, but here in the South there are still a lot of yellow ones. I think they never replaced a lot of them or used up all the yellow ones they had in stock first. May be the same in other parts of US, too.

In other news, stop signs are red. Just as her.

Are you able to take a picture of a yellow yield sign?
Or give us a street address that we can look up on google street view to confirm the existence of a single 46+ year old yellow yield sign still in activity?

depends on town, im in a larger city, and most are red/white triangle shape...but some older small parts of town, the old school 1970s yellow ones are still in place, it just varies city/town to town

It also depends if a high school teen unbolted one from a closed road in the 80's.... But I wouldn't know anything anout that....

Majority of people see yellow signs
The great majority of yellow signs were replaced 46 years ago according to current history.
The lectures in the OP are about perception and the fact that people see what they want to see.

Oh, then I definitely agree. Most people totally hear and see what they want. I thought this was an alternative universe thread.

Not a single person so far has been able to provide me with a single 2019 image of a yellow yield sign, despite the fact that people here claim their entire town or even state has nothing but yellow yield signs...
Even the address of a street corner would do ..we can do google street view on it & close the case.

So... if you ask...it's starting to look like a creepy twilight zone episode.

They changed the signs 2 years before I was born but most of my early life I saw yellow signs. I was a professional driver for years so I knew they changed the signs to red and white years ago. It's a very interesting sociological study, I'll give you that. Very 100th monkey. I believe in a hive mind.

And I'm glad at least a handful of people on here recognise how weird this is.

I believe in biological wi-fi. Everything that human beings have created has been based off of something that already existed in nature. We created wi-fi internet and I believe that already existed long before in nature. You think of someone and they call you. I've witnessed insane synchronicities for too long not to believe in a biological hive mind style wi-fi.

If you're amongst ten people who still believe the "Yield" sign is yellow in the entire state (despite having been driving around for the last 30 years)- and you go on a bus trip with them - will you see yellow "Yield" signs too?

It's not what you see, it's what you recollect. If your brain puts very little importance on the color of a sign, it will probably just connect to the hive mind to see what the collective thinks about it. If you thought it was important, (like myself being a professional driver), you would not need to connect to the others to reach a conclusion. I just knew.

yet some people are too young to recollect a yellow yield sign - so they are remembering from 'the hive mind' rather than from their own experience?
