...most Christians haven't even read the bible...it's not a requirement of Christianity. Anyone claiming that one thing is better than another without knowing both is speaking from ignorance. How can you say a Bentley handles better than a Honda unless you've driven both? Because you heard it from someone else?
Quoting: Baal Molech Actually, knowing even a brief history of Mohammed compared with that of Christ gives a "a-ha" awareness of the difference between the two religions. Also, knowing major aspects of most Islam-dominated nations compared with those dominated by Christianity is another "a-ha" moment. A lot of this, however, is also influenced by culture and politics, by the political left and the political right. The very fact most of the "touchy-feely" reactions in the West towards Muslims and Islam are coming from mainly raunchy liberals/leftists, and most of the brutality and suffering of non-Muslims is coming from reactionaries/"conservatives" - as defined by Westerners looking at Middle Easterners - in countries like Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, etc, is a window into the real nature of what's going on. . .
