Just an absolutely amazing feat of engineering, faith & will... gone. Oh gosh yes.. sooooo very sad. Was just there last week showing relatives the cathedral. I'm watching tv here in Paris and we don't see any water being dumped on the fire?! WTH?? Don't they do that here? They could be pumping water from the Seine up onto it! |

This is dramatic. Must be a terror attack. There is evening Mass I think 6.30 PM. I hope no one is trapped inside.  They have scaffolding surrounding the area on fire so the fire is likely from the construction work being done. Prayers for anyone in danger. That's just the excuse. Clearly arson. Who dunnit?
